Kek lapis sarawak

Hai geng! So i believe semua orang tahu kek lapis sarawak but tak semua pernah rasa right? 

So kalau korang datang sarawak, kek lapis ni macam wajib la dirasa atau dibeli and the kek lapis yang biasa dilihat ialah kek lumut atau kek belacan. It is one of my favourite cake!

As a sarawakian, bila beraya dekat semenanjung , it is kinda sad sebab takda kek lapis. Kalau dekat sarawak, every house akan ada. And the cake yang you selalu jumpa ialah kek lumut dengan kek belacan lah, that two is one of the og. 

Kek ni nama lumut maybe because the cake warna hijau kot , and not dia tak rasa pandan langsung! This cake boleh jadi manis and not really manis depends on the recipe . While kek belacan is because its black and block like belacan maybe. Tapi takda belacan pun dalam kek ni. 

My favourite cake lapis from my mom is kek holiday in. I never tired or muak makan this cake. Untuk yg ada kencing manis, this cake may make your sugar rush increase!  

Its hard to describe the taste, because each of the cake lapis have its own taste and its not the taste yang you boleh cari dekat any bakery yang jual bun hari hari tu tau! It has its own special taste. 

I was quite shock masa first i tanya my semenanjung friend yang diorang tak hidang cake waktu raya. i thought everyone did that! No wonder la its called kek lapis sarawak . Lol. 

This cake lapis you easily can found dekat airport, harga pun berpatutan. but i must said, cake homemade is much better. 

And also if datang sarawak jangan lupa beli mita cake house! One of the legendary bakery yang jual super moist buttery cake!
